Planned communities are growing exponentially throughout southern New Hampshire.
The market seems to be moving away from large residential properties to new developments with detached condominiums and single-family homes. Whether it’s young professionals looking for a low maintenance solution for their first home, or empty-nesters downsizing, the demand for these communities is very high.
At Signature Landscapes, we are very fortunate to have strong relationships with several developers who are building these communities. They hire us because we can provide all of the new construction landscaping services in one place – no need to chase subcontractors for irrigation, hydroseeding etc. We are able to build landscapes to spec – providing all the landscape materials, plants, fencing and pavers required – completing landscapes for as many as 50 homes per year with our own in-house crews.

We understand that these developments are typically 3- to 5-year projects and are often partially occupied as the building is going on. Our crews are well-mannered and respectful, recognizing that living in a construction site can be stressful for the residents there. There is also a continuing cycle of home showings and sales as the development is being built. Landscape contractors are the last ones to work on a new home. We place a high priority on keeping up with the schedules of our developers and maintaining a look of completion as much as possible.
New landscape construction…and maintenance too!
Our landscape maintenance services are a natural extension to the development of these communities. We are able to provide the lawn care services, bed mulching and fall cleanups for the association when the development is completed. There is a sense of confidence and trust that we are using the best quality materials and workmanship during construction, because we are going to be around later to take care of it.
Signature Landscaping has been our landscape contractor for many years and have completed over 200 homes for us. As a result of their excellent work the landscaping portion of our homes is never a worry.
